Smooth and manly - is a perfect drink for a long white winter night... dim the light, put some jazz on...just kidding - a Hole in One is a perfect power drink for business meetings and all other "boys only" type of gatherings.
And we got introduced to a Hole in One a few weeks ago at one of Chicago's top steak joints where we were invited by one of our Gulpon clients... Staying clear and away from my red meat, I used this opportunity to sneak out and straight to the bar! And you must know - classic Chicago steak joints serve a unique variety of gentlemen s drinks - you will not find anywhere else! My bartender suggested Hole in One as his personal choice...
The Chicago version was mixed with both Vermouth and Honey for a sweet syrupy goodness...
Today am offering You both for your review, please try responsibly:
Classic
1 3/4 oz. Scotch (we used smooth and affordable 12y/o Glenlivet)
3/4 oz. Vermouth
1/4 tsp. Lemon Juice
+  Orange Bitters

or
New (via Maxim mag)

1 1/2 oz Johnnie Walker Red Label
1 tbsp honey
3 oz unsweetened tea
1 lemon wedge
