This morning we had an interesting conversation at our Gulpon office that touched on famous drinks and drinks at movies. Yes - some mixed drinks have true blockbuster careers and we all love to see them typecasted in our our favorite flicks. Who can forget "Shaken, not stirred" martini aka Vesper preferred by the legendary Bond, or a White Russian stealing the show in our favorite The Big Lebowski? Movie drinks are known to tell a story, adding another link to our favorite characters - a simple way to relate, imitate and remember. And while most drinks in movies are just advertised extras, we feel that moviegoers appreciate their small parts!
Our favorite, BTW, is an Oscar-winning performance of a jack Daniels bottle in Animal House which according to our research was just a clever stunt-drink job performed by mr. iced tea.
