Coca Cola is an African beverage, Libyan leader Muammar #Gaddafi was reported as saying on Monday. (Sept 11, 2006) Speaking during celebrations for the 7th anniversary of the African Union in Sirte, his hometown, Gaddafi claimed that the US-drink was African as "its essences come from our plants and so multinationals must pay compensation to us."
